Playing fields across St Vincent and the Grenadines are benefitting from 4 brand new commercial pieces of machinery and we were very happy to help out. It’s lovely to see the impact this will have on sports in the community and ensuring everyone has fun and stays fit and healthy.
Below is a quote from the press release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade , Consul General Dr Stange acknowledged partners and said:
"Thank you to all our donors: Bryan Hynds Garden Machinery Ltd, Kestrel Liner Agencies, Clarksons Port Services and SFG Forwarding Ltd for assisting us in acquiring and shipping this much needed equipment. The National Sports Council is charged with maintaining the 50 playing fields across Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. These playing fields play an instrumental role in community, sports, and health development, which are all priorities for the government."
We were delighted to receive a very lovely email from Dr Christopher Stange thanking Rebecca Thorne for her part in making this happen. As a developing country SVG recognises the impact a gesture like this has on their community. Well that’s our mission statement “Global Reach Local Focus”
Well done Rebecca and Team!
