Kestrel was delighted to be able to support the Orchid Cancer Appeal, by buying boxing gloves donated by boxing superstar and former World Champion Frank Bruno. The event was held by the London Freight Club on 16th February at the New Connaught Rooms in London, which Frank Bruno attended as the guest speaker.
Andy Thorne, Owner & Chairman of Kestrel, (pictured below with Frank Bruno) was keen to support this charity which specialises in male cancer. Orchid exists to save men’s lives from male cancer through pioneering research and promoting awareness. 37,000 men will be diagnosed with a male-specific cancer in 2011, and Orchid plays a leading role in the fight against this through research, awareness and supporting patients.
