We recently shared some video footage on our social channels to give you an insight into our work. This ‘peek behind the curtain’ shows the Höegh Autoliners Caribia discharging cargo at the docks in Guyana. Drone footage reveals cars and other vehicles rolling off the Höegh ship and pans across the Georgetown port landscape. Also in the video are some shots of the wonderful Kestrel Guyana team who handle the Liner Agency for Höegh in Guyana.
This cargo of cars, vans and large construction machinery has come from around the world – Asia, Japan and the UK, before reaching its end destination - Guyana. We are very proud to be the liner agent in Guyana for Höegh Autoliners. They are one of the industry leaders in climate change – more on that shortly. And we are extremely proud of our Kestrel Guyana team for making this delivery happen.
The Kestrel Guyana team
The Kestrel Guyana team are one of five incredible teams we have based in the Caribbean. Our strategically placed regional offices - in Barbados, St Vincent, Guyana, Trinidad and Jamaica - allow us to manage a comprehensive agency network and help us to ensure our handling of worldwide trade with the Caribbean runs smoothly.
At Kestrel we are experts in diverse shipments, from large-scale projects to small, time-sensitive shipments. We specialise in part loads and full container loads and have vast experience in RoRo shipments and vehicle carriers. Combining our dedicated liner services to niche markets in the world, alongside our ability to arrange logistics packages tailored to your requirements, we work on a truly global basis.
Our amazing Kestrel Guyana team is headed up by Allan Newark. Kestrel CEO Andy Thorne spent some time with Allan on a recent visit to Guyana – see the Guyana visit post on our Kestrel LinkedIn.
Congratulations again to the Kestrel Guyana team for making this Höegh Autoliners shipment go so smoothly – just one example of the great work you do daily!
