LCL containers which have arrived or arriving to the Miami gateway will be un-stuffed as soon as the containers can be pulled out of the respective terminals.

There is already a cascade of ships that have by-passed South Florida and the plans to re-route containers are being made by respective ocean carriers.

Kestrel’s LCL network will be routing LCL shipments through usual routes; except the UK which for the next several weeks will use an alternate hub to ensure Christmas goods are arriving on time for holiday stocking.

Deep-sea carriers have filed for (special short- term increases) to recover their costs for the short-lived strike as well as filed GRI’s from North America to Latin America and the Caribbean.

Please consider your needs and plans for 1Q 2025 to ensure there are contingency plans in the event of another action.

We appreciate your patience and understanding.
